Help! Made Mistake on TAG :'(

So apparently under coursework for TAG, i put in the wrong term YEAR for two classes that i took; i put summer 2009, but it was supposed to be summer 2010. This happened because i signed up for cc in the year 2009 and i had a class, but i dropped it so on my transcript it just shows summer 2009 and i got confused and put summer 2009 as when i took those 2 classes.

Those two classes arent major classes or prereqs for my major though.

I heard we can correct this on the common app and put a comment on the additional comment box. is this correct?

if so, what 'comment' am i supposed to put on the comment box? and will this affect my application? and how so?

and should i contact the school that im tagging to?

thanks!

I think It’s already to late to correct it. You might be screwed…

Yeah unfortunately it is too late to do anything. UCs do not accept appeals for TAG either. Try contacting the schools admissions office but my guess is nothing can be altered.

I called in to the school and they told me to put that there was a mistake on the TAG application in the comments box. I also specified what the specific mistake was. There is no way you can change it on your original TAG application. They say it would not be a big deal if its a minor mistake.

yeahh i know you cant correct the TAG anymore, but thanks for the replies!

@hopingtoxfer: can i ask what your mistake was? :open_mouth: and did the TAG end up working or is this recent and you’re still waiting for acceptance?

i put the classes i took and received a grade for at the wrong schools. the schools are in the same district so the class numbers are the same. i put two in progress classes at different schools too. i basically messed up three parts.

ahh i see  well i hope it goes well for us :O

Good luck man. It’s kind of scary because there is uncertainty.
