Help making Recommendation Letter Better

The title might be misleading. No I'm not making my own recommendation letter, but my physics teacher just set me the Rec letter he made for me. I was very happy when I read it, he certainly took his time and did not copy stuff he saw on the internet. He told me to ask for help from the CC users here so that we can make it shorter (It's pretty Long) and improve the the structure and English (My English teacher cannot help at all- she's pretty busy) without changing the content so that we can make it more convincing.

Post here whether you want to help and I'll pm the Rec letter to you. Thanks Everyone :)

Your physics teacher told you to ask anonymous users of an internet forum for advice on making his college letter of recommendation for you better?? That’s… weird.

Not just weird, inappropriate. Asking for help editing your own recommendation letter isn’t something you should be doing on this website or anywhere.

Well since I’ve been getting very good advice from this site, I was the one who proposed the idea. He agreed and thought It’d be a good idea too. That’s all there is to it. We’re just looking for someone who has at least a bit knowledge about Letters of Recs so that he can have a look at the letter.

your teacher knows you best. if she seems to have no time for it (and asks others to do it) than you should think about asking others to write your rec

I agree, this is inappropriate. If your teacher feels that his or her writing style may not be grammatically correct, then that teacher should be asking an English teacher at your high school. Students should not be involved in the writing of their rec letters.
