help--math IIC prep

i'm using the Barron's SAT Math IIC prep book. However the book doesnt have a raw score to scaled score conversion table.

I'm aiming for a 750++ so approximately what should my raw score be?

thanks

I bet that you will score 800 on the real test if you can make 35 from the Barrons book.

ok, thanks Aberine...i'm really relieved now...Barrons really is an overkill

thnks again

it is disgusting- Barrons!
still trying to study it
cross fingers

i concur...

i'm tryin to prep as much as i can before the 5th...i hope the actual test isnt as hard as the Barrons

good luck

same here and i have done just the first 5 tests and i
m reading chapter 4.... didn
t understand everything up to now though and definitely didn`t remember everything.
those latus rectums and stuff from the conic section for example would NEVER appear on the real test.
thanks! good luck to you too!

i'm going thro Sparknotes' online test prep book rite now...and i plan on taking one Sparknotes online practice tests as its free..

there are practice tests at sparknotes???? WHERE?

go to www.sparknotes.com and click on the Math Level 2 prep part and u will be able to find it there...i regret buying Barrons now..ahh!

I know the site but I don`t think the tests are free

PS Don`t regret! You might score high after all!

i'm pretty sure if u sign up, which is free, u get to take one practice test for free....rite now i'm doing review problems on sprknotes

Oh that
s right! I
m doing it too! Thanks a bunch! :D

well in fact u can have all 3 tests for free if you sign up 3 times thinking lol

haha..yea but i think they repeat the tests...but its worth a try...especially under desperate conditions..

PS: do we have to memorize the law of sine, cosines for triangles....i despise those..

Yes--they will definitely test your knowledge of the law of sines and cosines.

i have a question...the Barron's book covers vectors whereas Sparknotes doesnt...is vectors on the test, or no?

Vectors are defintely on the test, but its not as hard as the ones on the Barron's book. Granted, anyone who really studies the Barron's prep book should get 750+ on the Math 2C

what about parametric equations and polar coordinates? are they on the actual test also?

I only got around 33 correct and about 10 wrong on the barron's tests...is my actual score really as low as 650?
