What a major science for colorblind people ? like physics or math ? or chemistry or what ?

I believe you posted about this in another part of CC as well…
Being colorblind is not a hindrance for pretty much any college major except perhaps art. Pick whatever interests you.

Chemistry, maybe, i dont know if there are many colors involved. physic, maybej, (red line, blue line, etc can be changed to line a and line b) biology, no, (brown seagulls, red walrus, etc) Math, yes, (it is just numbers) good luck.

I wouldn’t limit your major options based on the fact that figures in physics have different colored lines, or that some solutions are different colors in chemistry. Those are minor limitations and will not impact your success. If a professor makes figures in colors you can’t tell the difference between, just ask for clarification. No big deal. And there’s no reason you can’t do biology either. Color is not the biggest part of biology by any stretch of the imagination. It’s not about identifying colors of animals. (Also, since when are seagulls brown, except the juveniles?)

You can major in anything, even if your colorblind. If there’s any situation where you can’t tell the difference between two colors or aren’t sure, just ask (another student, a professor, whatever). No one’s going to tell you to drop the major just because you can’t tell the difference between two colors.

Can colorblind people consider an engineering major?
nano engineer or what ?

Yeah, of course. Why are you so convinced that colorblindness limits your options so much?

because in my country too discrimination with this color blind so I have plans to go abroad. and many universities do not accept partial color blind like in physics when I wanted to be a physicist

Wow, I didn’t know that was a thing. What country are you from?

indonesia

I know a lot of physicist colleagues of mine who are color blind. It has not hampered them in the least and they are experimentalists.

As long as you don’t go into art, you are pretty much fine with anything.
