<p>Hi....helping student figure out which route to go for auto/diesel mechanics training. He is in voc senior year (last year too). He is low income and will qualify for max pell grant but no other source of payment besides loans. He is looking hard at University of NW Ohio, UTI, Wyotech and last but not least community college and living cheaply from home. Can someone give me the "low down" on when it makes sense to pay big bucks for these quicky, specialized mechanics programs and if community college really is the "no brainer" which programs might have the best options if this is his best financial choice? He would like to get out of Maine..</p>
