Help Me Decide: Civil engineering or Geophysics?

What would any of you do?
I've been accepted to UCSD and UCLA in Geophysics, and to Davis in civil engineering.
Ultimately I want to get my masters in Geophysics, however masters programs accepts a wide range of undergrad degrees (including civil engineering).
With an undergrad degree in geophysics, job opptunies are slim.
There should be many job opptunities with an engineering degree (if I decide to take a break after undergrad)
According to the US Dept of Labor, those with a masters degree in geophysics should have excellent job opportunities. (I'm just worried about getting burned out on school)
I am also attracted to the rank of UCSD, UCLA (and hopefully Berkeley), and believe that this will look good on my grad school applications.
Any thoughts? School rank vs major with lots of job opportunities?
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
