My D is trying to decide where to apply ED, Wharton or Cornell (AEM). She has visited both schools and loved both. Any insights on differences between them that could help her decide would be great. Obviously, we get the city vs rural thing. What about interaction with professors, social life, types of kids? Thanks!

I think that Penn/Philly will provide a better social life (particularly one outside of the campus) and a more diverse student body.

Wharton's also a much stronger program than Cornell, which only received accreditation a few years ago. Wharton has a lot more faculty members and departments too.

If she really wants business, she should compare the two schools on much deeper levels. I think she'll find that Wharton offers a lot more.

I agree...as much as I love Cornell, Wharton is the best choice but also much harder to get into.

Penn on all counts.
