Hi. I’m a current senior from New York and I need help figuring out where I should go to school.
So far my options are:
Villanova- chemical engineering major
Syracuse- dual enrollment at Whitman and College of Arts and Sciences (chemistry and economics) w/ scholarship
Georgia Tech- chemistry major
I still have to hear back from a lot of schools in the coming weeks. I applied for different majors at each because I am unsure of what exactly to do, but I know that I want to do something math/science oriented. Can anyone offer any pros/cons to any of the schools I have heard from so far? Thanks!
How are you and your family paying for college? Are the schools you listed affordable without loans?
Do you have any full tuition scholarships?
Are you comfortable being far from home?
Lots of factors come together to form the best fit school for each student. Tell us more about yourself to help us help you.
Were you accepted to all the colleges you listed?
Villanova is too expensive, but the other two are within a comfortable price range. There is not enough of a difference between the prices of Syracuse and Georgia Tech to compare them when making a decision. I don’t mind being far from home, but I did not know if GT would be “too southern” for me. When I think of Syracuse I just think of the cold and I don’t know if it would be unbearable.
Yes. I’m still waiting to hear back from others though.
