<p>So, I've spear-headed some recent efforts to make my school more aware of and more prepared for the college application and matriculation process, since we receive very little help from our Guidance Office.</p>
<p>As a part of this, I'm planning for a group of 20-30 graduates of my high school, including the current graduating seniors, who have gone off to college (anywhere from local, state schools to distant, private LACs) to participate in a College Counseling Panel this coming fall. It will be designed to share experiences, pass down advice, and address any questions or concerns that the future prospectives may have.</p>
<p>This is where I need your help! I know most of this depends largely on the participants themselves, but I want some input from those who know best (you!). As a graduating senior, I myself will be one of the panel members, so help me out! :)</p>
<p>If you had had the chance to attend something similar to this (or actually have!), what information would you find useful?<br>
If you've already been through the application process (and, for those already out of HS, matriculating at a college) what would you have liked to hear at one of these panels?</p>
