Fire away!

ok or don't help ;(

It seems like you would be a candidate for any of these schools, I think that as long as you live in Washington, UW is a very safe bet.

I really don't understand why Koreans take SAT II Korean. If I were an adcom, I would hardly be impressed by an 800 on that test.

I am Oregon. I haven't really looked at anywhere else besides UW for safety hmm

motus: I took it to show I am good at both Korean and English. Or something like that. Why not?

Why? See this thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-subject-tests-preparation/85023-sat-ii-chinese.html

It's Chinese, but you get the point.

since you are out of state, unfortunately UCB and UCLA are slight reach schools. and the price of those schools are going to reside around 45k per year.
UW is def a nice safety/target

motus, I have nothing to lose. Took the test, got the 800, so why not? It only shows I am good at Korean, nothing else.

I think it was worth the 60 minutes of test and 10 min drive.

Yeah I just recently added UW to my list because I figured UCB and UCLA weren't "safe enough."

hmm I read this cuz you were writing things on mine. good stats, but I don't like your personality. Don't let the admission officers detect that in you.

hahaha aww
we both rep KSA though man

well, it doesn't make a difference. We actually have a lot in common.. But the way you talk suggests that you are rude and inconsiderate. You're applying to Stanford early, too? Good luck. E-mail me if you get in.

lol okay sure

Eh, I didn't mean to come across as rude/inconsiderate by pointing out that JV tennis isn't worth writing down. Sorry if it offended you :/

No, I wasn't offended. I just read your other posts and most of them had it blatantly. :) I'm not mad at you. :P

Btw I just noticed our academic stats are basically the same
WEIRD

yea, i saw that too. And we have the same schools and similar major. I gtg. Facebook me if you want. I'm Jacob Kim under Huron High School. I'm from Michigan (really cold and snowy but I love it. lol)

haha okay, will do.

Why did no one mention the "Real Good Stuff".
Your skills at Starcraft will take you far in life.
150% chance at getting in. You should send in a starcraft supplement (perhaps a well done 6 pool?)

kpxxbladexx415, UCB and UCLA are more than "slight reaches". Moreover, they cannot be grouped together.
OP, I would estimate your chances at UCLA to be 75%.
At Berk I would say 60%.
Your list looks pretty safe. Don't count on getting into UW Honors (though if you didn't I would be shocked). UW, though, is practically guaranteed.

Good luck!
