Help me find a safety school?

Okay so, so far, I’m definitely applying to these 6 schools:

Georgetown (applying early action)
Harvard (obvious reach)
Boston College (applying early action)
Boston University
Tufts
George Washington University

Because of the low admissions rate of these schools, I’ve decided that I need to find at least one that I’m more certain that I’ll get into, and I was wondering if anyone knew of some good ones in similar areas as the ones I’m interested in? I’m out of state for all schools and am only looking at east coast schools, thanks!

Stats:
Gender: F
Ethnicity: white
2nd Gen College student, Public School
ACT: 35
SAT: 1410 (only sending to non-score choice schools, but it is on my transcript since it was a school day SAT)

Subject Tests:
Chem: 800 (sending to all)
Literature: 640 (only sending to GT and H)
Math level 2: 710 (only sending to GT)
(I might retake math or literature in the winter, when I have time to.)

GPA: (weighted, my school doesn’t do unweighted): 3.82 (it’s low since I struggled in Foreign Language and a couple of semester of math/ english as an underclassmen, also my first semester of senior year is on set to be all As) my school also doesn’t rank.

APS:
chem and lang last year, both 4s
this year I’m taking Ap Calc BC, Lit, Bio, and Art

Extracurriculars:
Field Hockey for all four years, Varsity only my senior year but I was JV captain my Junior year, and this year we have won our division for the normal season so far, and are planning on winning states in the coming weeks.
Ski Team for all four years
NHS and the subsequent volunteer hours that accompany
Animal Advocacy club and another Political discussion club that I attended a few times a year
I do a lot of art in my free time as a hobby, but I don’t have a cohesive portfolio to show it

Work:
Nothing formal, but I regularly babysit and dog-walk for a couple different neighbors.

Rec letters:
My Math and Ap Lang teachers from last year, my former Ap Lang teacher has also edited my common app essay.

I’m applying undecided!

Villanova
Fordham
American

@wisteria100 None of those are safeties, they are low matches.

Your home state flagship is your best safety, unless you live in MI, VA, CA or NC.

Hi
From looking at your list of schools, I notice that you like schools in the Boston/DC areas. Any particular reason American and Northeastern aren’t on your list? If not, they’re worth a look. They would both be targets. You’re list seems kinda reach heavy so adding a target might be good. I can’t think of any safeties in those areas (though I’m sure there are some) but from the looks of it, it seems like you like medium sized schools in east coast cities. I’m assuming price is not a factor since you didn’t mention it. Check out Pitt which is pretty big but Pittsburgh is a cool city and you might get into the honors college. Also look at Fordham, Villanova (a target but it’s a lot like BC and it’s near Philly), and Drexel (would also be a safety and is in Philadelphia though I’ll admit, I don’t know too much else about it). If you’re willing to look a little further west, DePaul in Chicago or St. Louis University would be safeties.

I do happen to live in MI, so thats a bummer

I’ve looked at Northeastern, and Iiked it but wasn’t particularly interested in it, but ill look into some more! I also hadn’t looked into American at all, but Ill def check it out now! personally I just really want to get out of the midwest so I’m avoiding chicago area schools

Lehigh, Lafayette, Elon, CWRU, Macalester, Miami of Ohio

@TomSrOfBoston You are right that Villanova is very competitive, but since OP is not applying for business or engineering, I think s 35 with rigor in the curriculum is a pretty good bet, especially at EA. Fordham really values high scores and will love that 35.
