<p>many subjects that sound plural are actually singular (like everyone, no one, everybody, nobody, somebody, someone…). Therefore, the pronouns used as well as the verbs used must be singular. “They” in the sentence above is used as the pronoun for “Everyone” and is wrong. Everyone must be with a singular pronoun, like he or she. (By the way, I got a perfect score on writing mc, as well as a 12 on the essay, so if you need any more help with the writing section, I’m your man)</p>
