How much did she cost?

It cost me about 3 weeks...and I dont work.

And she was a virgin.

Brown U
Bucknell U
Colgate U
Cornell U
Dartmouth C
Franklin/Marshall C
U Pennsylvania
Washington & Lee U
Whitman C

hows this list? for people who actually care

why don't you add Wesleyan since

A) It's easier to get into than Brown
B) It's a lot like Brown, but an LAC like half the schools on your list
C) It's hella cool.

i actually had it on my list..im not sure about it

I want to go to a school
Also, im going to be honest, I noticed that its ranked high on "gay community accepted" for princetonreview. i dont like schools that have a large gay community, which is what that probably means. Also its ranked high for students ignore god etc..My dad is a priest, and atheists **** me off. Having a faith in the disbelief in something is retarded, and theyd probably be running around everywhere. plus i want to party like crazy at my school, and wesleyan seems a tad nerdy. these are just the things that ran through my head when researching the school thoroughly. i dunno though, feel free to argue. i really was interested in it

oh I see. Well, just a heads up, if you don't like the environment at Wesleyan (your description sounds pretty good, but there is a lot of partying from what I hear) you probably won't like Brown's either.

hahahahhahahahah you think they'll hit on you or something? Did your daddy the priest touch your P?
Oh and Most Americans are atheists...

no, i just prefer to have people id want to hang out with go to my school. people that are like me. And I your second statement is false first of all. Secondly, if that is the case, then that would explain why i hate most americans.
Look at my school list, im sure you can notice a trend.

Can you stop posting on my threads? Get a life.

A lot of those schools have prevalent gay populations...

Well, I'm sorry to hear you don't like atheists. Different strokes for different folks, I guess :-). Regardless, I can (once again) comment on your list.

I'd say overall it looks balanced, particularly since you have two likelies/safeties on there (F&M and Whitman... I personally think that its best to have at least two likely schools). However, I must say that I agree with brand_182 if you're not into "liberalness of all varieties" Brown might not be the best choice for you. It's even more liberal than Vassar in my opinion, and I'd say Vassar is pretty far out on the curve.

Have you considered looking at Wake Forest University in North Carolina at all? I believe that has more of a conservative/traditional bend to it. Also you could try the College of William & Mary in Virginia if you haven't looked there. Dickinson College in Pennsylvania is another good school which would be a likely/safety for you and which I could more personally recommend having visited it. It seemed pretty moderate and was a bit like F&M.

Lastly (and this is just out of curiousity), what caused you to change your mind about Davidson? If I remember right you'd posted earlier about applying there ED.

nono its not that i dont like atheists, theres lots of atheists that i like. its just not a choice i agree with and i tend to be argumentative with them and combative. :D

Yeah the problem with Davidson was their very limited major choice. Otherwise the school wouldve been my number one.
I also decided i would shoot for higher tier schools, and since if you wanna get into davidson you pretty much have to apply ed because like the majority of their body is ED.
I dunno, i was disappointed to find out how few majors they had. I wanna major neuroscience. Im looking for a school that has a strong neuroscience specific program.

Yeah I still havent decided about my feelings on Brown.
It seems like they are awfully liberal, but with such a diverse and larger student body, I'm sure i wouldnt be engulfed by them :P

I dont have to agree with someones beliefs to respect them and like them. Just so you all know.
And littleatheist, i think youre mad cool. It doesnt matter if youre an atheist, but id love to have a debate with you sometime :)

Let's make this a little easier. Schools you should avoid based on your personal preferences:

Brown
Wesleyan
Reed
Vassar
Sarah Lawrence
Yale
NYU
Grinnell
Oberlin

all bastions of liberalism. :)

(well, maybe not Yale so much but it's pretty dang liberal)

well majority of colleges are liberal. i am not saying im conservative, i agree with both sides on different discussions. It just seems the personalities of these types of people dont accord with mine is all.

And thanks los lobos, i didnt know that at all.
I go to a private school and about 40% of the population is either bi or gay.
It doesnt bother me, except for a few of them who "wear their gay".
I think you know what i mean
As long as a college isnt like that I wouldnt be too worried.
Brown is a big school as well, I'm sure I'd be able to find my crowd of people there

Gawd fine, ill take it off
New list!

Bucknell U
Colgate U
Cornell U
Dartmouth C
Franklin/Marshall C
U Pennsylvania
Washington & Lee U

Need more :[

it seems like based on me, id prefer to go to them int his order

Dartmouth
UPenn
Wash & Lee or Colgate
Cornell
F&M
Bucknell
Lol, looks like im doing this wrong

I mean I have been told so often that Cornell is like a safety...I dunno maybe its not, the only reason i wouldnt want to go there is beacuse I would have to work so hard because of Cornell's deflation and intense curve. Bucknell i guess I should take off my list lol

* Boston U
* Colgate U
* Cornell U
* Dartmouth C
* Franklin/Marshall C
* U Pennsylvania
* Washington & Lee U

how is this list, in this order
