John Hopkins University just sent me an application for admission, but I never requested anything from them. Does this mean something? Are they interested in me or do they just want my 60 dollars? Should i apply?
<p>Is it a regular application? Most likely, they are looking at your PSAT or SAT scores and think you are a reasonable candidate. JHU is very competitive, however - unless your stats are without blemish you won't be an automatic admit. </p>
<p>Some schools are doing simplified applications for people they really want to attend. I don't thing JHU does this, however.</p>
<p>It is a normal application, but with it they sent me a letter stating that I do not need to send it in Jan.1. They gave me an extended deadline of until Jan. 15 to apply. Also my stats are pretty good.</p>

<p>IT doesn't mean that you're in however, but the admissions office may be interested in having you.</p>
