And Im in the top 5% of my class. But the thing is Im applying for need based aid.

I dont know if Lehigh is need blind. So could you please let me know what are my chances of getting an admission along with aid, because I cant attend the college without it.

Lehigh is need blind. You sound like a great candidate. Just make sure that you can show them that you are really interested in attending and you should be fine. Lehigh is making a push for more international students, so that could be a huge advantage for you.

ur SATs are very strong for lehigh, i think u have a huge chance, like mentioned above remember to show interest, Lehigh has been known to reject very qualified candidates for not expressing interest. If u do i think u will definitely get accepted

..."Lehigh University awards need-based financial aid to students from other countries. Competition is very keen and our budget is limited.

Awards will be made on the basis of an analysis of a family’s ability to pay for college. We require the filing of the International Student Financial Aid Form and the International Student Certification of Finances, which are available on our Forms and Supplements page. These forms are to be submitted with the application of admission. No awards will be granted solely on the basis of merit, but rather on the combination of financial need, academic excellence, and extracurricular involvement.

In selecting students to be offered financial aid based on need, our awards will be made in the form of a package; that is, they will combine university grant aid, educational loan (repayable after the recipient is no longer enrolled on at least a half-time basis), and on-campus, part-time employment. Other employment opportunities are not permitted by government regulation.

As an international applicant, in most cases you should be prepared to finance your education at Lehigh with the funds secured primarily through your family, sponsors, and other resources at your disposal. We encourage you to research alternative funding sources on your own.

Students with applications pending for Permanent Resident status will be considered for financial aid along with international students, as described above, until proof of approval, such as the nine-digit alien registration number verified by the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS), is received."

visit the school (Probably doesnt weigh much in ur case, since ur international), contact faculty or admissions officers. Anything that will give them ur name.

Even is u dont do much, ur SATs are excellent and ur an international (Lehigh is typically a northeast-US school, so that will help u). I would be surprised if u didnt get in, good luck
