HELP ME PICK A COLLEGE!!!

Hey guys! This is my first ever post on here and I would really appreciate some feeback from you guys. I am a senior and I have been accepted to 5 schools but I have narrowed down my list to Syracuse University and Boston University as both schools provided ample financial aid for me.
If I went to:
Syracuse: School of Transmedia- Computer Art/ Animation
BU: School of Visual Arts- Graphic Design

I understand that they are not known as premier art schools but they both fit what I am looking for in a college but most importantly, they gave me a lot of financial help. I have done a lot of research and Syracuse seems to be a lot better in the art department as they have almost as many majors as an art school but I still do not know too much about the art programs of both schools (they were actually my safety schools). I would really appreciate it if anyone could drop some knowledge about the pros/cons of both schools and their art reputations. I will be visiting both schools in the next coming weeks but I would love some feedback.
Thank you so much!

Congratulations on your acceptances! My son went through this last year but with different schools. He was also accepted at Syracuse but they didn’t offer him any $$ while others schools did so he’s now at Tyler in Philadelphia. Also, we live just outside of Boston so I’m somewhat familiar with BU. Personally, I don’t think you could go wrong with either school but I would say Syracuse may have a slight edge in the reputation-department. If the schools are financially comparable for you I would look at what else each school offers. BU is in the heart of Boston. Very much an urban campus - i.e. not particularly picturesque but lots of college students around town. Syracuse has a beautiful, suburban-like campus but not much else around it. Both areas get lots of snow. Are there extracurricular activities you’d like to participate in? Travel to/from each school - distance & how you would get back and forth should be taken into consideration. I think you’ll have an easier time deciding once you’ve visited both schools. Good luck!
