Help Me Pick Some Schools PLEASE!

I am a senior this year, and I would like some suggestions as to where I should apply...

My stats/EC's

GPA- 3.93 (we don't have weighted)
Rank- 1/9

No AP's as our school is TINY

SAT

Math- 620
Verbal- 700
Writing- 720

I am going to take the SAT II's, not sure which ones though.

Nothing real notable as far as my credits except no Chemistry (not offered).

Classical violinist + Fiddler
Music school- Honors Chamber Group
2006 Washington State Fiddle Champ
Lots of awards for fiddling

Baseball- State "B"

Varsity starter since freshman year
All Opponent Honorable Mention

I would prefer to stay relatively close to home (I live in Spokane WA), but I am not opposed to maving away. I am applying to Gonzaga, but that seems a little bit to the safety side.

I am NOT a math/science type. I enjoy writing. I may want to do something in the lines of sportwriting/radio/journalism or get a business degree, but I am not set on any of that.

Not sure if I left anything out...

Any of your input would be much appreciated!

Thank you,

Whitman and Lewis & Clark sounds like excellent matches. Evergreen State and UPS might be good safeties. Reed could also fit (match/slight reach). The Claremont colleges also might be worth looking into.

Ever look into California Schools?

Berkely? UCLA? USC?

Thanks for the suggestions guys... I will definitely look into LC.

I should mention that my preference is for ver conservative schools, so I would not be going to Reed...

Pepperdine may be worth considering.

Ryno:

UCB/UCLA: Reach (out of state)

Take your SATs again. It can't hurt to do them another time and try to bring them up.

What about UW?

wow 9 kids in your class. whats your school like? heavy competition?

You may wish to consider Willamette University in Salem,Oregon as a match-Wonderful music program,as well as business/lit, bright students like yourself. Good merit scholarships. Relatively small-biggest class for me was Freshman biology-30 students. The professors really KNOW their students-I used to play tennis, and go jogging with my profs.
