<p>No, it’s not necessary to get a sophomore internship. But it doesn’t hurt–it’s just not an absolute necessary. Don’t stress if you don’t get one. I know people who got in without doing internships at all. </p>
<p>I also want to second having an AMAZING ESSAY. Write, write! For fun. For practice. For the heck of it. Maybe think about ordinary topics and make them extraordinary. </p>
