Help me please ! I can't choose my future university ! (Intl Student)

So I’ve been admitted to NYU poly, Northeastern University, Boston university and University Of Washington seattle.
I really can’t choose the one that i should go to !
Knowing that I intend to major in Computer Science/Engineering and pursue a second major in Business later on for a double Major, Can you please give me a rounded opinion about the matter ?
I know that UW is ranked best of CS schools in the US but as an international student i don’t have the right to get a direct admission. I am pretty confident i can do well as a pre-major and get into the CSE department.
On the Other hand NYU dosen’t seem so bad even though NYU poly dosen’t seem quiet good but a double Major in POLY and Stern still seem tempting ! but NYU poly is in Brooklyn and the rest of NYU is in manhattan so i’d basically have no social life.
Please Help ! I can’t make my mind ! I have to choose my future university soon I’m actually losing my mind haha!
PS: Money is not a problem, So it is not an important factor for now.

You really have to balance the availability of your major with the location and all the other factors. No one can do this for you because you have your own specific priorities. I think that all of your choices are good but personally I would go somewhere that I know I am in the program I want.

Boston University seems like it would meet your needs the best based on what you have described.

Do you Know or think that NYU and NEU are viable options ? I am really Hesitant about those two !
Otherwise, If I am confident that i could make it to the UW’s CSE do you think i should go ? It’s the school i want to go to most but i am hesitant because there’s a risk i won’t be asseigned to my major

If you are admitted to Poly, I dont think you can get a cross-degree in Stern. Sternies can get a double major in CAS and other schools, but not the other way around

1° You can’t get a business major from Stern if you weren’t admitted to Stern. You can double major in this though

2° Uwashington direct admits some internationals to CS, but it’s very selective. If you are in the top 20% of admitted students, you may have a shot a post-freshman admission, but be aware that a majority of students who work hard their freshman year nevertheless don’t make it into the CS major.
3° NEU is a very good university and Boston is a great city.
4° I like Boston University less than NEU, because it doesn’t have a campus.

@MYOS1634 How do i know if i am in the top 20% of the admitted students of UWashington ?

According to their CDS, you’d need 730-750 Math, and 700 CR on the SAT, and a GPA in the 3.8-4.0 range

I have 730 Math and 650 CR on the SAT, as an international student i don’t know how to exactly calculate GPA but i think that i have the equivalent of 3.85 GPA !
I’m kinda losing hope and considering a gap year :frowning:

You’re close enough that it’s worth a shot, especially if English isnt your first language and your scores are thus lower due to language issues. So, I think you should be okay

thank you @MYOS1634 !! That helps a lot !
I just regret not applying to other schools such as USc or colgate, I thought my scores weren’t enough !
I’ll be considering UW for now but I think NEU is still an option: The Co-op chances, the reputation that it is gaining and living in the heart of boston which is a technological hub.

Absolutely.
