Help me please SDSU

I am applying for sdsu and have a 3.59 gpa and my sat math and reading is 980. They dont look at anything else but that for admissions. What do you think my chance is. Any input would be great

980 out of 2400?

No, I believe he means 980/1600, just the math and CR sections. I don't have any info about SDSU though, so I can't help you out.

This is wikipedia:

The average GPA necessary for freshman admission in fall 2007 was 3.63. The average SAT score was 1,128; the average ACT composite score: 24

I highly recommend retaking the SAT and the ACT. Is your GPA weighted?

A strong essay and E.C is going to make or break your acceptance...

Yeah if you can retake the SAT. Still you have a shot, try not to worry about it.

That gpa, the 3.59 is all of my a-g courses wich are all of the courses that the cal states see and is also the gpa that i filled out on my application for the school. And in response to HSisOverrated that score would be absolutely horrible if it was my total score. That score is just my critical reading and math sections of the sat. Those are the only scores that the cal states look at. I have applied to cal state fullerton, but i am really wanting sdsu, it seems like a better livlier campus, plus the area is really nice.
