<p>I'm a soon to be senior at a relatively competitive high school in MA looking to major in international relations. My list is long, but here (obviously I'm narrowing it down);</p>
<p>BU, Northeastern, NYU, American, GWU, Skidmore, Syracuse, Rochester, Clark (alumni), Occidental, University of Miami, Drew, Macalester, Reed College, Lewis and Clark, Colorado College, Claremont-McKenna, Brandeis, and maybe CMU (alumni relation to two generations of grads)</p>
<p>I'm blatantly white</p>
<p>GPA: ~3.6 uw, ~4.2 w
SAT's: 650 M, 680 W, 650 R (taking them again)</p>
<p>SAT II's: 600 Chem (lousy), 760 US Hist, 710 English
AP's: APUSH: 5, AP Lang & Comp: 3 :(</p>
<p>Future AP's: Euro, Psych, and the other english one (can't take AP's till junior year, my school offers a minimal amount of space on schedule)</p>
<p>I've taken ~85% Honors/ AP's with a few Advanced classes interspersed randomly</p>
<p>EC's:
Model Arab League (honorable mention)
Model UN (we sucked)
Bridge-building Club (out of Popsicle sticks)
Rocketry Club
Lit Mag (barely)
I'm going to attempt to start a Young Democrats Club in fall
Cross Country and Track (somewhat dedicated)</p>
<p>I work at Museum of Science selling tickets</p>
<p>This summer I took classes at Harvard, Intro to International Relations and a Middle East Class (hopefully I did alright)</p>
<p>I've yet to do any volunteer stuff, I'll think of something though</p>
<p>Am I being unrealistic, or are these schools good matches (this list is long, can I eliminate some)? Also, any schools I haven't considered that may be good matches?</p>
