I am going to go with C: 4 for the first one. I don’t know how to do the math, exactly. But in f(x), it jumps from .125, to .5, to 2. That’s a jump in by x4 each time. In When you do 4^-1, you get .25, 4^0 = 1, and then 4^1 = 4. That’s also a jump in four. And so K = .5

(.5)(4^x). Plug it in. It’ll work for each one.

I can’t get the second one. I suck with them.

As for the last one – Choice A. The height of a pyramid is side / radical(2).

First one: Take the second set of numbers which assumes x = 0. That means a^0= 1, therefore k= 0.5. Substitute it for another set of values. so if I take the third one, assume x = 1, then 0.5 a = 2. a = 4

Second one: 4.2. Thats because if you substitute a-1.2 into the equation u get (a+1.8)(a-4.2)=0. Therefore a= -1.8 or a =4.2, so since a is positive ans = 4.2

Thank u nikey.What about the third ?

have a look at this pls

I didn’t do 3 because I thought mono did it.
Anways Q3: first find diagonal of base = (root) 2m (squared). Divide this by 2 to get a right angled triangle with e, h and half of the diagonal. use pythagoras, m (square) - m(square)/2= m(square)/2. You do this because e=m. Then root it to get m/(root)2 which is A

I think the last one is 5C2? = 10

Nope, Its 5P2 = 20, B. Otherwise think about it logically. There are 5 options for one area and if you use one then there are 4 options for the other area so its 5 x 4 = 20. You would only use 5C2 in the case when they specify that one pair of colours cannot be used more than once together.

Wait a minute
What is 5P2 and 5C2 ?

Its combinations and permutations, a bit hard to explain in short It makes probability q’s easier if you know them but you don’t really need to. Just use my other method. All these q’s can be solved by thinking them out. 5 options for 1, 4 for the other, so 5 x 4 = 20

My error was that I did it like 5 x 4 x 3 :)

All done? Man, I miss solving math on here ;)

Spidey being from IIT these questions must be like kindergarten stuff for you lemme guess 800 math?

:) righto genius.

You dont need to be a genius to score 800 M :)

haha, I was calling him a genius for figuring out my score
And yep, quite true. SAT is one of the easiest exams I know lol.

^I’m sad for you though…BARCA won :D

Barca was the better team and deserved to win :)
