Help me!

I'm currently sitting in my bed with the computer on my lap asking you guys what should I do to raise my Critical Reading and Writing scores. I have never taken the real SAT although I've taken the PSAT. My PSAT score was a 150. (54 math, 47 writing, 49 reading) Although there is not an excuse for a low score, I was super stressed and didn't even start a long passage in one of the Critical Reading parts. My sister urged me to take a practice test of the SAT from the Blue Book ( I'm currently transitioning from Sophomore to Junior) earlier in May and scored CR 580, Math 630, and Writing 600 with a combined score of 1810. As I stated before my question is what should I do to raise my Critical Reading and Writing scores?? Please answer... I am willing to accept any type of advice!!

PS: I don't need advice for Math... I am now constantly hitting the 700s in individual parts.

Well, you already have the Blue Book and are doing practice tests- continue. Solve tests, review answers, memorize vocab, understand why everything is wrong OR right, and you’ll achieve the score you want. Btw, 1810 is a great start.

thank you!!

Well the writing section only tests certain aspects of grammar, so you should focus on learning all the topics covered in sat writing. The best way to get better at sat reading is simply to read more books.

thanks for your help!!

This is how I raised my score from a 480 to a 770. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/1507941-how-i-raised-cr-some-tips.html

Ok thanks!! One quick question: You did 65 practice tests only the CR part or all of it??
