Help! My SAT score isn't going up!

<p>I've been studying vocab flash cards and doing practice math problems and all that, but for some reason, I can't seem to get my SAT score to go any higher than like 2150. I'm pretty well rounded so I always get around 700 on each section. </p>

<p>Does anyone have any suggestions? I've been trying to improve it for months and I'm getting kind of desperate. And I'm supposed to be better at math! I got a 750 on the math SAT II level 2 and I would have done better but I ran out of time at the end. I'm not pressed for time on the SAT, by the way. Like, I always finish the questions. I just... get enough of them wrong to never go higher than a 2150. I got a 2100 solid on my last practice test and it always fluctuates around there. Oh, and recently, I've been getting 10/11's on the essay.</p>

<p>I know it's not the worst score ever, but I'm aiming for competitive schools and I really need to bump my score up another 100 points or so. I heard that the SAT prep part of CC is really helpful, so I really hope that what you have to suggest works for me! :) Thanks so much!</p>

<p>I'm sorry, I didn't really understand- what do you mean "banking on your sat's?" </p>

<p>I have good grades and ec's and all that, but I want good sat scores, too, and I don't know what "banking" means in that context. Can you please explain?</p>

<p>It's not the best in the world but, hey, free practice tests! Also Kaplan has a free online program and practice test that can be helpful too.
