Help Navigating the Recruiting Process

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>I'm a mother and my D is in her sophomore year playing basketball. I'm really new to the athletic recruiting process and while this forum seems like a great place to start, everything seems so overwhelming. I've heard about recruiting services to help with the process but would like to pass on this option. Is there an online course about athletic recruiting I can take or a tool to help centralize all the information? If so , how much is it and how much would you pay?</p>

<p>There is a big thread on athletic recruiting services below this one which should be a big help. I know people who have been recruited without using them at all, and people who have used them and their kid was not really in the end recruited at all. It can be a ton of money. Be very careful.</p>
