After calling the office they told me they only send it out to admitted students usually after decisions are released. However, when I called the admissions office they said they were still making up their classes. By the way, I have not received any likely letters or AO calls. Do you guys know if this means I have been admitted and that is why they want me to apply for the international student visa as soon as possible?

It’s been sent in error. These emails are sent by mistake every year, sometimes announcing admission to people who hadn’t gotten in… Don’t do anything till you hear from admissions .

I agree with MYOS1634. Someone somewhere made a mistake. I don’t know how you can know what the mistake was. Hang tight and expect to hear more relatively soon.

By the way, I am assuming that you are NOT a US citizen nor permanent resident. If you are a US citizen but applied from abroad, it is possible that they might have missed this fact. I know someone who is a Canadian citizen who applied to universities in Canada, but from a US highschool. She got a couple of similar forms (but how to apply for a student visa to Canada). A simple fax of proof of Canadian citizenship to the universities cleared this up quickly.

Thanks for all your help! I am a Canadian citizen attending high school in the US. Called the office again and they said you have been admitted but admissions still refuses to acknowledge anything.
