Hello, thank you so much for taking the time to read this post.
About two months ago, I started working at Kumon. However, I got a job offer today from Safari Kids (Another after school place for kids, my role will be similar) but I get paid much more money and it’s much more closer to my house. For those reasons, I want to quit Kumon. However, will it look bad on college apps? Because I only worked for two months and then I quit for another job. Thank you once again for your inputs!
It’s nerve wracking when examining your accomplishments and your “resume”. But as the others have said, you’re reading way too much into how colleges read applications. They have neither the time nor inclination to ascribe some “quitter” label to you because one line on your activities list was for 2 months rather than what? 6 months? 3 years?
Details like this simply aren’t important to their meta level reading of you as a potential student at their college. You’re fine.
