Help needed on decieding what program is a good fit

Hello,
I have stumbled upon this forum and would like some input.
I graduated from Georgia State University with a BBA in Business Economics(concentration:Law and Economics) in 2007 with a 3.02 GPA. Since graduating I found a position at a logistics company as a Contract Analyst and I have been there for a little more then a year.

I know that my GPA is pretty low(situations outside of school affected my grades) and as an undergrad I did not take much math(I actually failed pre cal my first semester) so I guess for now a PHD in econ is out of the question. On the other hand I took a lot of law classes(hence the law and economics concentration) and in my current job I read plenty shipping contracts daily(though I am not sure this helps at all).

I have one Econ prof willing to right a letter of rec for me, I can probably get my former boss(from current job) to write a letter, and maybe another econ prof that I took "Law and Economics" under.

I would like to work for the federal government in some international position in the future but still have flexibility to work in other sectors.
I am interested in these fields:
Law and economics
International Economics
Monetary policy
Corporate law
Public policy
a few others that are similar to the above.

I guess my question is what program do you recommend as is a wise path to my career goals(working for the feds). Should I be aiming for some sort of SIPA program? Law school? Stay at my current job and get more experience? What schools should I be looking into for the interests? Now I will just start studying for the LSAT and GRE. Any other advise would be appreciated.

Anyone have any tips?
