Hello CC users, I am a rising high school senior from Ohio. I am in the top 10% of my class, have a 30 ACT, great EC's, and I am president of student council. currently I am having trouble narrowing down my list of colleges, and any advice would be much appreciated.
I want a school that:
-is academically rigorous
-is in close proximity to a major city
-is mid-sized to large
-has strong programs in areas of interest (business, communcations/PR, psych)
-has a sense of spirit (not an "all i do is study" school)
-has diversity, not just all upper class preppy white kids

So far my list of schools consists of:
-Ohio State- my safety, however I worry about the large focus on sports and party reputation
-Northwestern- top choice
-DePaul- slightly concerned about academic rigor
-University of North Carolina
-University of Dayton
-University of Pittsburgh- also worry about academic rigor
-New York university

These are the ones i am slightly interested in. any feedback?
-Saint Louis University
-Washington University in Saint Louis
-George Washington University
-Boston College- worried about reputation of low diversity and conservatism
-Northeastern University- heard there is a lack of school spirit
-University of Wisconsin- Madison - I feel like this would be similar to ohio state
-Fordham University
-University of Pennsylvania

Any other recommendations? THank you so much. I'm sorry, I just really need help narrowing down my list. It grows and shrinks every day.
