I have a couple questions concerning a minor

1) is it possible (easy) to have a communications or psychology major and minor in a different college like economics or bio

2) What's the significance ? will it look a lot better if you have say a communications major with a minor in econ ?

3) Is it a waste of time ( or just as hard ) to minor in something instead of just double majoring ?

Any answers would be greatly appreciated!

I would think yes, but very hard because you’ll need completely different courses for the credit.

I don’t think there’s much significance. It should just be for fun.

it’s not a waste of time, but it’s hard.

Minoring is never as hard is majoring.

“Minors” are called “minor” for a reason; they’re usually not all that significant.

I think that there was a thread about this in the college life section a while back. You should try doing a search. Also, you might have a better chance of getting a response if you posted this in the college section since the cafe seems to be a limited amount of people from all ages.

I said “kid” because I was trying to exclude the parents of people attending/applying for college.

Hey, it’s always good to consider your options.

you couldn’t have done that before you actually entered the thread and realized it’s about college majors.
i heard some 5 yr old gave birth and the child thought that she was his sister
