Help on Transferring to UNC

Hello everyone i just finished my first semester at East Carolina University, and i pulled out with a 3.76, and my unweighted high school gpa is around a 3.3, my sat scores are around 1150, so I was wondering if I have a shot in transferring to UNC, also my activies are awesome. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I will have 32 hours by the end of my first year.

You might as well go for it, the worst they can say is "no". The admission process (even as a transfer) is a game. There are not usually any set rules to the numbers. Your stats look pretty good -- but I am no expert. I transfered in from UW-Madison with a 3.133 college, 3.8HS, very few college ECs but many HS ECs, and a 30 ACT. I had 32 hours transfer of the 33 I had completed.

Just go for it! What have you got to lose??? Best of luck!!!!!
