Help - Pitt or NCSU for women in Engineering? Or just Engineering?

DD accepted to both Pitt and NCSU. Just spent the day at NCSU’s WISE (women in engineering and science) “spend a day” and - damn - it was pretty compelling. Second visit to NCSU and we were pretty impressed and loved what we saw and heard, which was weird because first visit in the summer was “meh” about the campus, although we liked everything else. This time, with students in session and meeting professors, students, etc. we were totally pumped. Visited Pitt also in the summer and were also loving it. Now DD is totally torn (although she was ready to commit to NCSU after yesterday’s experience), as are we. Does anyone have any experience with both or either, specifically for a woman in STEM?
