Hi,
I really wanted to go to a med program but wasnt good enough and since I applied to about 15 schools, I have some decent choices. Here are my choices:
Case Western Reserve University (about 5k-6k per year and their tuition is like 43k per year)
UIC ( Honors College almost full ride for state tuition)
Loyola Chicago (Honors, 12k-13k per year)
Drexel, philadelphia (Honors, 20k, will be given preference for Early Assurance Program to Medical School)

Also got into Vanderbilt, but I have some very bad experiences in nashville and I do not want to go to tennesee. I got waitlisted at Brown and 2 med programs. I highly doubt I will get in any of these schools because I am not very high in the wailist.

Factors I am considering:
Prestige
Urban setting; Distance from Chicago
Easier Acceptance to Medical School and so hospital/research oppurtunities

Any Help would be really Appreciated......

also, i have already sent in tuition deposits to all above so I just need to make up my mind, and i need your help..

case western....i like almost everything except the price and the fact that is in cleveland. also, how is college life there as a whole?
another thing i was looking for was easier acceptance to really good medical schools.

you sent in deposits to multiple schools?

why is there something wrong with that? i mean, case they said i could pay on my tuition statement (if i went there) and i had to pay some money only for drexel. it's ok, right?

Some schools will rescind acceptances if they learn you have sent in multiple deposits. I don't know about the schools you have listed. Look into this immediately.

What are you going to use as your reason for eventually turning the other colleges down when you finally decide? If you give them a down payment you are reserving a slot that could go to someone else on a wait list. You could have asked for an extension to make a decision instead.

Drexel's $500 in Matriculation and Housing Deposits are nonrefundable, but nothing about rescinding you acceptance.
However, I agree with Erin's Dad. Other folks are waiting for your slot and also your finaid.
