<p>On 32, towards is not correct. Toward and towards are completely interchangeable (<a href="http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=towards)%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=towards)&lt;/a>, so towards is wrong for the same reason toward is -- it's just not the right preposition. People are critics of people, not critics toward them.</p>

<p>And Nash, the answer to 29 is A. Opposite is not the right word. Contrary or something similar would be more fitting.</p>

<p>On 34, twinkletoes is correct. Think about it -- the way the sentence is structured, the dependent clause at the beginning is technically modifying effects. Since the effects are obviously not looking at an eruption, something must be changed to clear up the ambiguity.</p>
