HELP! Questions & Anyone Have time to edit an essay?

So, I’ve been running into a wall for the past few weeks on what to write my common app/college essay on. I kept shuffling back and forth between two ideas. So I decided that I might as well write them both out and see how I like them…I had a more interesting idea (dishwashing) vs a less intriguing idea. I know. You’re thinking "Dishwashing?? " What? Yeah, I know.

I need someone to answer these questions:
Does an essay always have to explicitly allude to the future or what I plan to do?
Can I just talk about myself now and leave it at that?

Also, I need someone to look over an essay that needs to be in by Dec 1st. That’s barely a few days, I’m aware. I need fresh opinions and perspectives to help me out. Someone please answer. I’m getting more and more lost on what to do.

I’d recommend going to ■■■■■■■■■■ and requesting Brian to edit it for you. I had him edit my personal statement for graduate school and he did a great job! He was able to make it sound more coherent and still sound like me. If you need an editor, he was great. And he can get it back to you the next day if you need that.
