Help raising bed!?

I know it is possible to raise the beds in the dorms on your own.. I just want to lift it to the highest setting.. not lofted, just raised higher. Does anyone know the trick? Thanks in advance!

take off the end piece, flip it over, hook the side rails back on to the highest notch.

theres a little peg that locks in the side rails that you need to push in before you can lift it off.

what do you mean by the end piece? do i need any tools?

no tools needed. maybe like a pen or something, because theres a locking pin that locks in the side rails which you need to push out.

if you have a picture, i can explain it better...

it might depend on which kind of bed it is... if it's one with a wooden frame and you can't just pull it out of the end posts, you'll need tools and at least another set of hands to take out the screws...

nope. wooden frame in terrace last year. popped right out. all i used was a pen.

there's at least two different kinds of wooden frames in the dorms... in the three years that i lived there (in rieber hall and then in Acacia,) we had to use tools to unscrew the screws at each end of the beds... they didn't just pop out...
