Thanks @picklechicken37 !!! I’m definitely going all out my Junior Year!

Vandy-reach
NW-REach
NYU-High match
Syracusse-Low match
UNC-CH- reach

i don’t feel comfortable posting out in the open, but could you PM me so you could chance me back?

Thanks @lanflan !

I would expect you would get into any but northwestern or vandy. Those 2 are reaches for almost everyone

Raise your SAT to 2100/2200+ and this:

-University of Maryland, College Park - Safety
-University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill - Safety
-Northwestern University - Match
-Vanderbilt University - Match
-Syracuse University - ???
-New York University - Safety

Ayy! I’m in Pre-IB too!

Your GPA is a bit low for top schools. Aim at 2200/33 for NU or Vandy to make it a low reach (unless you can bring up your GPA). For Northwestern, GPA4.0 with ACT35 is still just a high match with below 50% chance these days.

wow impressive! i would look at some small liberal arts schools in the north east. great financial aid and very impressive admissions profile

BUMP ?!?!

Assuming that you letter the next two years in your sports, then you should be very well off. Especially for schools such as UNC.

Thanks @uscghopeul !!!

You should have a great chance at all of the schools you listed. Definitely try to score high on the PSAT next year and aim for around 2250+ on the SAT or 34+ on the ACT to maximize your chances for Vanderbilt and Northwestern!

Vanderbilt will never be a match. For anyone. Respect my alma mater lol

Thanks @kspencer125 !!!

you seem like a solid applicant, but northwestern is a reach for anyone
hard to predict with “projected” grades

Thanks @lampglove, I’m just trying to see what my chances would be now so I know what I need to do junior & senior year !!
