***If my chances are not good, what can I do over Junior & Senior Year to improve them (PSAT score, especially math, will rise because I barely knew anything about Geometry in October)

You’re in a good position now, just study for the SAT and get a 2200+ for optimal chances. Also try to get all As because the only thing is that if your 3.85 dips, that wouldn’t be too good. You have really good chances at UVA, but by the time your admissions cycle comes around, everything will be even more competitive. It also helps to have won some awards so schools know that you have excelled in your ECs. Also, I would try to take calculus before you graduate.

I agree you have set yourself up to have a legitament shot at some of your schools especially UVA. I wouls say for UVA to get a 2100 but I could see you getting in with a 2000. Also since you are still younger I suggest taking both ACT and SAT because they are different. If you can maintain high grades you should get a good oppurtunity at your top colleges except any IViies and the most elite ones like Stanford where no matter who you are they are reaches.

My d had the same problem. Almost perfect on the writing, but she struggled in the math. She got into a great school, but keep in mind, a lot if schools don’t look at the writing section of the SAT

Bump ???

To be honest, you need a little bit of luck to get into colleges like Stanford or Northwestern and great grades like yours. I think you have a really solid chance in getting into any of these colleges (based off of those who got into those colleges in my school). It won’t hurt to retake your sat though just in case!

Can you chance me as well if you have time? Thanks!
