Help! SAT score error (ACTUAL error, nothing to do with too low a score)

I took the SAT at the beginning of this month. When I got a 720 on the math I was pretty happy. I figured for the questions I missed I just made some stupid mistakes.

However, when I got back my score report today it told me something weird: I missed 1 and omitted 3.

I know for a fact that I didn't skip any questions. I triple checked; when they'd call time up I'd always do a couple scans to make sure I didn't skip any (and I didn't). I know there was some kind of error (maybe computer error or maybe I didn't bubble all the way?) and I'm thinking about paying for score verification.

Does anybody know why that would happen? Also, what are the chances of my score dropping from this? Any advice would be awesome! Thanks!

We don’t know why that happened lol, but if you are absolutely sure, then I suggest order a rescoring by hand. If you got those 3 right, then you got a 780, which is a significant increase.

haha on my PSAT the same thing happened. zero wrong and 4 omit (didn’t omit anything… and the questions I allegedly omitted were either very easy or medium) I got a 68, but should have had an 80…

O well I got an 800 on the real SAT :)

Maybe it’s because the questions you answered incorrectly were grid-in problems. Those don’t have a guessing penalty, so they may just count as omits.
