<p>i'm not sure but i dont understand why they dont offer to pay some of it and have those who can pay, pay the rest of the fee (or those who cant afford to pay offer scholarships to)...ughhh</p>

<p>So governor's school is in the process of dying and being revived.</p>
<p>But they still have sent no official word out!!</p>
<p>Does that **** off anyone else? In my school, for example, they have a policy that until they REcEIVE anything official, it's still happening. and noone has received anything.</p>
<p>so what about the people that don't have internet access or cc or contacts to tell them what's going on? what about the people that still are waiting and wondering what happened to their application?!</p>
<p>gah. i have given up on governor's school. if int'l studies somehow happens AND i get chosen, i'll be happy to put "gov school scholar" on college transcripts and go on with my summer job.</p>
<p>and my best friend, after finding out about the cancellation, had to apply to another program in a day. she has no option, she CAN't do governor's school now. >:0</p>
<p>They supposedly mailed letters to us on the 4th. I refuse to believe that, as I still haven't received anything.</p>
<p>I sent an e-mail to the executive director. She says:</p>
<p>I understand your frustration, I am waiting for guidelines from the state
department of education in which to write the letter. They have not sent
those guidelines, when they do, I will write the letter ASAP, have the
department approve it and send it out immediately. Dr. T.</p>

<p>i was waiting for my letter from nj gov school engineering for a couple weeks and i see this.</p>
<p>i thought they were just late on the letters but its totally Cancelled for this summer???? </p>
<p>guess its time to go grab my application for my summer job..(probably wasnt gonna get in anyways though but it would be nice if they sent a letter at least saying it was cancelled..one of my teachers who wrote me a rec is gonna be even more disappointed then me though...he asks me every week if i heard from them..i told him should be by the end of march, now i think he thinks im lying when i say they havent told me anything)</p>
