Help~~ schools with a good EE program

Hey guys,
I am gonna transfer to ?(still pending>"<) as a 09 spring,my major is electronic engineering.
I 've been told that UT Austin and A&M was awsome, but both of them is kind of too large for me ="=, especially UT. I gonna try them anyway, coz their EE is really super.
And I just want to know some nice one and not that bigggggg. u know.
And I know Cal Tech is small and awsome, but it is too damn hard, and got a tough work >"<

I also plan to apply GA Tech, its ee is awsome ,too =)

Where are you transferring from, and why are you planning on transferring?

coz my school's ee is kind of , u know , out of date.
I mean, the pro and teachers here r so cold, they did not care what u can got from this schppl, and some of them even did not know what's EE
and my classmates just not intreseted in study >"<

You're not making any sense, and I doubt you can get into any of the school you mention. Sounds like you're from a very bad school...

Thanks for ur reply.^@^
My school is not bad, but its EE is really badddddddd~~
I got admitted by UIUC as 08 spring
its ee is not as good as I thought (=
But the agriculture here is amazing >"<

So, wait, you're going to UIUC? And you're considering transferring out because you think their EE program is bad?

Perhaps it's impersonal, but I think as a new student to the school, you really don't have enough experience there to call what is one of the top EE programs in the nation "bad".

If you don't like UIUC, that's one thing. Transfer to a smaller school where you'll get more interaction with your professors. (A&M and UT do NOT fit this bill.) That, or start making a more concerted effort to get to know your professors and get involved in research... I think you'll find it to be more interesting once you get a little more involved.

Thank u ~~ aibarr
UIUC's EE is not like what we heard >"<
And the point is I love small school and classes, I am so disappointed now coz all the good tech(EE) schools I found r soooo large.

UIUC is a good school. What other schools did you have in mind?

I am not saying UIUC is not good ^@^
MIT or CIT
it's not in my mind, it's in my dream >"<
Thanks for ur guys' repies, I gotta go, see ya =)))

have you looked into harvey mudd or rose-hulman?

There are plenty of excellent smaller programs. Have you looked at Harvey Mudd or Olin? IIT?

If he was a spring admit for UIUC, the first two would be a long shot.

OP is just too funny. LOL.
