I am between umass amherst and the university of pittsburgh. I play to go into some sort of field in business. Money is not a problem for us it’s me deciding where i will be happiest. I’m from Connecticut and I like the idea of living in Pittsburgh and being 8 hours away but I also love the campus setting at UMass. I think the social scene will be really fun and I like that there is football tailgating, hockey games. Other than that there are also soooo money clubs to join and to get involved. The only problem is that I want to transfer to the Isenberg school of management. I had over a 600 in math on SAT and a 3.8 WEIGHTED high school gpa but in the end it’s all about how I perform in my classes at umass. Less than 50% of students that apply as transfers to Isenberg get in so I’m worried I’ll be stressed out about that. I just want to know is it worth a shot going to a school knowing that I might not be able to finish out as a business major? When I know that if I went to PITT I will finish with a business degree since I am already in the business school of management.
