Hey everyone,

I'm a high school junior and I'm having scheduling difficulties. I wanted to ask your opinions on a few things. I didn't take Spanish 3 this year due to another conflict, so I was planning on taking Spanish 3 and 4 my senior year. My school has block scheduling and my senior year schedule is pretty much triple booked, so I only have room to take Spanish 3. I'm planning to apply to some pretty selective schools and many of them "strongly recommend" four years of language (which pretty much seems to me like "WE WANT FOUR YEARS OF LANGUAGE PERIOD.") My school might be able to let me take Spanish 3 online over the summer, and then I could take Spanish 4 in senior year. But - all the online and in-school summer schools in my area only offer up to Spanish 2. So my main questions:

What are some great online summer schools that will let me take Spanish 3? Any recommendations?

And do you think the colleges will care if I can only accommodate up to Spanish 3? I had to drop it in order to take AP Lang - do you think because I took an AP class instead they might not view the lack so negatively? I'll call up the schools too, I didn't quite make the office hours today.

Thanks!
