Help...Stanford Admission

I sent in my stanford application. Everything about it was strong and fit well within Stanford norms. However because of some unfortunate events I wrote 1 of the 3 essays the day of the submission. It's a mediocre essay, not bad but by no means outstanding. I felt that the rest of my application was really strong. How will this one unfortunate thing affect my chances??

ps please respond I'm freaking out!

No way to know for sure. It depends on how ‘mediocre’ it is, but honestly I bet it’s fine. Stanford places more weight on essays than most colleges, however I doubt it’ll hurt you much if 1 of your 3 essays is simply average. Nothing you could do about it now though. Good luck!

Thanks, I keep telling myself I cant change it, but still stressed.
