Help! The Vast World Of College/University Selection is Eating Me Alive!!

Intparent, it’s interesting you say she’s luck to live in California because of all our choices. My experience is that the recent graduates are flocking OOS from Cal. We have no traditional colleges with spirit and football teams, except the ones that practically nobody can get into. We wish that we had a flagship school that would be fun and a good education and accessible to anyone with a 3.5!

But, for chocohearts, just search “colleges that have fashion design”. Here’s what I found - 65% of the fashion schools in the top 20 are not traditional colleges. They are Art or Design schools. As such, they are often modern in architecture, not Gothic.

Here are traditional schools that have fashion, older buildings, and may match your stats:
Kent State
Drexel
U of Cincinnati
Oregon State
Missouri
Baylor

Good luck!

Thank you for the help. I am interested in majoring in fashion styling if I was to major in fashion, and there are very few schools in America that offer that. The ones that do require portfolios which I don’t have.
