I am a sophomore in high school and I took a few practice exams and I fall within the same ranges every time and I need help on how to improve in each of the subjects. How should I go about improving in each subject. I would like to break 1900 and work my way up to 2100 (which will take time and effort- preferably 700 in each section.) Im willing to put in the work.

In Math I am always stuck within the 650-660 range and it’s usually the hard problems and one or two mediums.
I am a mess in writing and I’m not sure how to go about improving it even though it sounds like the easiest to improve upon.
I have a couple books like BB, Erica Meltzer’s (Critical Reading and Grammar), Dr.Chungs 50 perfect tips and 12 practice tests for math, and Larry Krieger Sat Critical Reading and Vocabulary
Thank you
I was also pretty much stuck at around the 1900 mark until I got myself together and went hard at the SAT and scored a 2280 in October last year. In order to make the most of your prep, you need to schedule your time in order to accommodate your own schedule and abilities.
When are you planning on taking the SAT?
For Writing, is it the essay portion or the actual multiple choice?
I hate to say this, since it is a bit of a dodge; but, there is no writing section on your SAT!
@dgxvi99 I plan on taking it mid junior year, for the month im not sure but I have at least a years time ahead of me. It is the multiple choice that’s getting me I get a whopping 15 wrong if memory serves me right.
BUMP
Also Update: I’ve been able to improve my Writing score to a consistent 730-750 range, but I still need help with Critical Reading as it is now my most turbulent score
^Dude, you don’t have to hawk this product on every possible thread. Actually, its really not helpful.
@CHD2013 Hawk what product?? This is my only post ever
There was a post that was deleted that I referred to. Not you - your post is good.
To answer your question, the best advice can be found on the stickied threads on this forum. I think xiggi’s thread has the best advice, but look around and decide for yourself.
Oh alright @CHD2013 thanks! I know I can improve math since I’m strong in it, and writing has shot up greatly so its on to critical reading
I think Erica’s book and practice will help you a lot on CR
