Help! Tough Sr Yr Course Decisions

I’m planning to be a bioengineering major, so I will be applying to the CoE at the top universities. I have run into an issue with my senior year schedule. I was going to take both BC Calc and AP Stats, but at this point I have run into scheduling conflicts, and I might have to give up BC Calc. My question is: is BC Calc important in the eyes of engineering admissions officers? Or would I be OK applying to schools like Berkeley’s CoE with only AP Stats as my senior year math?

I would take BC Calc because it shows that you continued your Calculus education. Colleges understand scheduling conflicts, but if you have the opportunity to continue Calculus and take BC then take BC.

If you took BC Calc, what would happen with your schedule?

I think you should give up AP stat in stead. BC is usually more favorable for engineering students.

Stat is viewed as a somewhat easy course in comparison to BC. Definitely go for BC.

I’d keep AP Calc and drop AP Stat. AP Calc is important for engineering schools.
