Help!! - UC to UCLA Transfer Question

I’m attempting to transfer to UCLA as a psychobiology major, but I’m not sure if I’ll get around to completing all the prereqs. I will have completed my GE’s so I can get UC reciprocity but just not sure about prereqs (especially since UCLA’s LS core courses articulate so weirdly to UCSC’s courses).

My question is, if I have a strong GPA (my definition of strong is higher than a 3.8), do I still have a chance at getting in even though I may have not completed all my prereqs? Has anyone gotten in as an inter-uc transfer w/o completing all of the prerequisites???

Any feedback is much appreciated! Thank you so much!

Yes you do have a chance… but if someone has similar stats as you and has their pre reqs completed, you’ll be at a substantial disadvantage :frowning:

If you haven’t submitted your app yet, in the additional comments section explain how you’ll be sure to succeed in those courses once you do transfer

Thank you @Molisha !! Articulations are so frustrating >:P

hey i have a question. by GE do you mean the general education your current campus requires or the general education that UCLA asks for?

@becky679 - you must complete the GE’s at your current UC to obtain UC reciprocity

Prereqs are more important than GE’s, but having your reciprocity completed, most prereqs done, and a high GPA will make you very competitive.
