NEED ADVICE!!! I recently just got accepted into Penn State University park into the Smeal school of business for marketing. I hear from the University of Delaware soon for fashion merchandising with an FIT connection, an amazing program as well. If one is looking to go into fashion marketing, is it a better idea to get the broad marketing degree, in my case, at Penn State, or the fashion business degree at Delaware? I love both schools and I am stuck on making a decision. I want to choose the best program for me. Any advice is well appreciated. HELP!

did you apply to umich or umd

hey. psu psu psu. psu has a great reputation andn is a great school. i live in delaware and udel carries an alright not great reputation, its getting better. psu is known everywhere and is great. my friend is in finance and he loves it. i want to get the heck out of delaware and its ugly weather and go to uva but my parents want me to go to a religiously affiliated university such as liberty or oral roberts and i dont want to. so definately psu, plus if you major in fashion what happens if you want to change fields? a general degree may be better for you.

A friend’s daughter went to Delaware to major in fashion merchandising, didn’t like the program, and changed majors. She was positive that she wanted that major and only applied to schools that had it. The PSU smeal degree will give you more options. You could probably do fashion internships during the summer. Take a look at the courses required by each program to see what looks more appealing.
