<p>NEED ADVICE!!! I recently just got accepted into Penn State University park into the Smeal school of business for marketing. I hear from the University of Delaware soon for fashion merchandising with an FIT connection, an amazing program as well. If one is looking to go into fashion marketing, is it a better idea to get the broad marketing degree, in my case, at Penn State, or the fashion business degree at Delaware? I love both schools and I am stuck on making a decision. I want to choose the best program for me. Any advice is well appreciated. HELP!</p>

<p>penn state hands down. much better reputation than udel and if you ever decide to change fields you will be stuck with only a degree in fashion merchandising. penn state has a fabulous business school, congrats, and best of luck on udel but penn state is a significantly better option.</p>
<p>I am in a similar situation. I also got into smeal and although I haven’t heard back from ud yet, if I get in I would choose ud over psu. My decision has nothing to do with reputation but everything to do with what I believe is the right college for me. At ud I will hopefully be accepted to the honors program, be able to study abroad, double major and still graduate on time because of their winter session. Basically I’m trying to tell you to choose the college that you feel can be your home for the next four years, and will also provide you with unique opportunities! Both are great schools, I don’t think there is a wrong decision, and at both we can be successful 
visit them, and weigh the pros and cons but don’t focus solely on reputation, especially between schools who are of pretty similar calibers. Good luck!!!</p>
